Teachers
The CEC teachers form a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic team with diverse backgrounds, education and life experiences but who all share a strong commitment to quality child care. Some CEC staff members have been with the center for more than fifteen years. Selection of staff is based on education, previous experience, and above all, a demonstrated ability to relate to young children in a positive, caring, loving manner. One of our parents offers this perspective: “Each teacher has a different personality and experience, but together make a great mix. I love my child to learn about diversity in people through their appearance, dress, language and even moods. Everyone’s the same where I come from. I love the diversity at CEC — a universal world.”
